My 1st JEM.

hi guys, my first post here and just had my 1st JEM. and its a JEM Jr.
basically it is a JEM that i could only afford.
i got it used. but still looks brand new.

i am thinking to replace it's ILT1 TREM, any replacement Trem suggestions?
also there's no screw for tightening the trem arm. any trick to avoid the "wobbly-ness" of the arm?

can't post pictures due to the number of my post though. haha

thanks guys!

Generally a Floyd is good replacement - do you have the 333 or 555? I think the Jr, is a 333, no?

Well you know...i'm actually new to the Ibanez world as well so I wouldn't really know what to recommend.

But, this is definitely the place to ask! Lots of awesome folks here that will help you out for sure!

Good luck and let us know what you decide to get!

Re: My 1st JEM.

If it has a trem arm that just pushes in and has a white plastic washer on it, there are a few tricks you can do to make it tighter. One I remember reading about was putting a small coat of clear nail polish on the washer to make it larger. Do a search on here about loose trem arms and you might find some discussions about it.

Re: My 1st JEM.

Congrats Lestervai. I have one too. The Jem Jnr is a good guitar. Enjoy it!! I change my bridge pups to the tone zone. I'm thinking of putting in the Evo's soon and see how that sound.

Anyway, enjoy your new guitar!!!
