Smile My 777BRMR has just arrived!

The mirror finish is very sexy and way cool. Absolutely stunning guitar to look at in person!

The basswood body seems to weight a bit less than my 2002 7VWH. The neck is also slightly thinner, which is unexpected (I expected the same profile as the 7VWH), but welcome nonetheless.

Can't wait to finish work today! It's Friday. This weekend I'm gonna have a good time. I'll talk more and post some photos later.

Congrats ! I'm sure you'll be very happy with yours. I've been very happy with mine for over a year & 1/2 now. Yeah Basswood is lighter than the Alder in your VWH. Enjoy and we look forward to the pics !

Re: My 777BRMR has just arrived!

So, it's been a loooong day in the office! And I'm finally home with my new toy...

I set up the BRMR briefly and plugged it in to a Vetta Combo. I played the opening riffs to PG's 'I like Rock' with my favourite clean setting and confirmed what I've read about the Breed pups - Clean, they sound pretty much the same as PAF Pro's (which I'm a fan of). I'm already loving what the Breed's sound like after playing briefly for 15 mins. Haven't really had a chance to use distortion yet. It's a bit too late in the evening.

The neck on the BRMR is defintely thinner than my trusty '02 7VWH's with smaller frets (are they really 6150?). Personally, it's a blast to play.

First impressions on the Edge Pro...it seems to be a good design. This is my first Edge Pro equipped Ibanez.

Meanwhile, a couple of snaps...

I'll shoot more in the morning.

Hee hee Couldn't help it

Do you really think the breeds sound just like the PAF's?? I think they are much hotter. Definitely a better pup. And yes...the neck is thinner and the frets are a tad smaller. It's a great feeling wonderful neck

WWL, no, it's not supposed to have 6150s. It's supposed to have "Warmoth 6105s", which would mean Dunlop 6105s.

Re: My 777BRMR has just arrived!

Congrats on the guitar! These are getting snatched up quick now. I'm glad I have one! The VWH and BRMR look great together. I need to get a Jem with a vine now. It's a need not a want.

I have a 7vwh and the brmr. It's a tough decision on which to play first when I get home, but one decision I am always glad to make. Enjoy your guitar!
