I started a project to build a Jem well over a year ago (long before i won the Jem form here!), unfortunately though due to terrible weather and a really short summer i just wasnt able to make enough progress on it (i dont have anywhere to work on it indoors).
I'd bought all the hardware and most of the guitar, so i emailed Richard Fay (whos advert i found here
) and asked if he could finish off the bits ive done, and paint the guitar for me.
After quite a bit of emailing it looked like it would probably be better to start with a new body instead of using the one id hacked up
I sent all my parts id bought to him and he's made some really fast progress on the guitar!
Body: Basswood, Jem style with monkey grip and lion claw
Neck: Prestige Wizard from an RG570, custom pyramid inlays

Rich has sent me pics of the progress every few days or so, these are some ive got so far!
