My JEM contest loser is finally finished!

Took just over a year, would have been done long ago, if not for bloody apathy!

Just a setup, and straplock install is all it needs! The lights in my home do it no justice, some outdoor pics will be coming. Bright light makes the swirl just pop out!

Re: My JEM contest loser is finally finished!

Awwwwww......for a second there I was all "oh oh lemme see!" I've been hoping to see some of the designs get built but to no avail. Still it's never too late people.

And this is a beautiful axe man. My next guitar will be this, but a UVMC knockoff because the real ones are priced waaaay over the ridiculous.

Kudos to your build man. I need some color like this as soon as I can. I own three guitars, a 7VWh a black les Paul and my black and white monstrosity custom. Dying for a swirl from Herc ASAP.

Thanks. My UVJEM was actually the 2nd design I submitted. I will eventually build the first, it's going to cost about double of what this one cost me.

Here's the body of my next build.

Sorry dude, I didn't realise that your entry was actually a UVMC styled Jem, which actually makes sense. Getting both of Steve's models and mashing them together.

What's the design that you're doing with the other body? Can you post it up?

The new body is gonna be just a straight-up JPM100 P1.

that's the multicolour faces one? red, green, blue yellow? They're wicked looking. You can't buy them anymore? or they just too pricey as most sig models are?

is that a custom made body? maybe it's the light but shapes are a bit off.

Yep, red/green/blue/yellow is the P1 variant. I also considered using an JS-series neck to replicate an one-off JPM that John used towards the end of his endorsement.
