Talking My "new" '97 U7BK!

Hey dudez!

Just back from travelling, and anxious to see my U7BK, that had arrived on monday. I just stringed her up with a pack of D'Addario 7-string. Here some pics:

I will put some more detailed pix up tomorrow. I will also prepare some quality pics for the '97 U7BK section of the Jemsite gallery, so that ugly Ibanez add scan can be replaced with some decent pix.

A question: I always put schaller straplocks on my guitars so I bought a set for each of my Ibanez guitars, but the screws that come with the schallers are much smaller than the Ibanez ones. Any other schaller straplock users here? What did you do to make the schallers fit tightly? Some straws of wood or some wood pasta? Please enlighten me with your experiences!

Best regards,

D.

I've been using the 'ole toothpicks in the screw cavity with pretty damn good results for my Dimarzio strap locks. Just place them evenly inside and apply some wood glue, screw in the new schaller screws, make sure you have a tight fit and let dry
