My New JEM7VWH

Finally, after years of waiting it's my turn. Just goy my VWH yesterday from Christian(Jems4all) yesterday! '02 in new unplayed condition with ebony and lopro. Gold is perfect, body os perfect, neck is perfect and not even a scuff on the crisp UV1000 case. I think she is one of the most beautiful instruments I have ever seen and she plays like a dream! All for a 1030.00 shipped! Thanks Chris! Feel confident trading with him.

Re: My New JEM7VWH

thanks for the note! it was a great process and I'm glad the JEM found an owner who will appreciate the playability and quality of this guiter. Hopefully the purchasers of my J. Custom and that other brand (Peavey Wolfgang) will be just as pleased with their guitars when they take delivery. Thanks again, and enjoy!

Do it Tom. That's a great guitar. I Love mine a LOT.

By the way, Are you relative to Martin Gilroy in Sligo?

Re: My New JEM7VWH

I'm not related to anybody in sligo. There is a Gilroy tiling shop there. He might have something to do with that. I don't own an Ibanez but to buy one I'd have to buy online. Does that change anything? I very tempted by the Jem. Rosewood fingerboard, Edge pro trem and that new "indestructable" 5 piece neck. I dont like ebony so now seems to be the optimum time to buy. Why does everyone b*tch about trem studs? What difference do they make?

Re: My New JEM7VWH

Well without the locking studs it seems tha alot of people are having problems keeping their Jem in tune when using the trem bar. There is plenty of threads on the problem on this site and if you are interesed then Rich Harris has the info on the "Stud Mod" to correct it. I played a new VWH with the new trem and rosewood and although it was very nice I just prefer the ebony and I was really leary about the trem. The trem looked cool but I thought it felt a little different..not bad.. but different so I prefer the lo pro.

Re: My New JEM7VWH

Can I get the same results from a tremstter compared to the studs? Better maybe?
