Exclamation need help, thinking to trad my js90TH.

hi, i'm thinking to put my js90th for trad, with a jem 10th or jem 777LNG, well my 90th is in a dead mint condition no play time at all, the reason that i'm thinking on a trad is that i'm so
use to play 24 frets , and i'm a big fan of jems which i'm collecting and would like to increase
my jem collection.
WOULD IT BE FAIR A DEAD MINT 90TH FOR A DEAD MINT JEM10TH OR 777LNG?or i should keep it due to the rarenst.
please need an opinion.
thatks shai.

Re: need help, thinking to trad my js90TH.

How much would a JS10th be worth? About 8 grand? Maybe i'm just looking at a odd 'bay deal. How much would a LNG be worth, dead mint? 3 grand. The Jem 10th I'm not so sure of. If there's anything wrong here, please correct me, I could be wrong.

Jem10th I thought was like 10k or something. Why don't you just sell it and buy one of the guitars you want.

Re: need help, thinking to trad my js90TH.

To be honest there's very little between any of these guitars in terms of relative value. Traditionally a JEM10 might go for a bit more, but I've seen a couple of very expensive mint JS90s recently.

Whether you'll be able to swap your JS90 for a JEM10 is something between you and the other guy.

Personally, I'd rather have a JEM10 than a JS90 but I'd rather have a JS90 than a JEM 20, so it'll depend on who out there has the guitar you want and wants your guitar in return.

Re: need help, thinking to trad my js90TH.

I've seen people asking a lot for "mint" 90ths, I've only seen 1 actually sell high. That was a couple years ago on ****, one I had sold new, resold for $3000.

The last truely dead mint LNG was the one Renato had in the box, sold for $6200 on **** to r.bogner. Whithout the shipping box you could shave $1000 off that. Dead mint 10's have sold over $5k several times, although a little soft right now.

Re: need help, thinking to trad my js90TH.

You're thinking of trading because you're used to playing 24 frets? Do you guys really play these guitars? I always though collector guitars were case queens. I don't think I could play any of these.
