http://www.deanguitars.com/userpics/lib6/IM000893.JPG

i also kinda wanted a finish i could i use this decal on, i got it in black.

i want to put a maple on maple neck with vine inlay on the guitar, the color paint will help determin the color vine .

Use multiple layers of paint. Then you could get a kind of swirl effect. Oh, I would definitely ditch that pickguard!

I meant to use the same technique that Bookshelf suggested. You could paint it yourself. Not sure if you misunderstood?

Whatever, good luck man, I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Re: need paint ideas for my jem project

well i got to the shop with all these ideas in my head so i said i wanted to look at thier color choices . I rummages through a few different sections and then came to the pearl blues and dark blues . I ended up choosing a color simular to the jem7vsbl . I am going to paint the pickguard i have white and man it will look beautiful with a maple on maple neck with blue vine inlay, i love how well the 77bfp looks with the blue vine .

anyways should be done shortly , apperantly they dont have alot of paint work going on .
