The new EP10 Vai Euphoria

I think it's a gorgeous, classy-looking instrument. A bit more flashy than the EP9 but not as much of a crazy fashion statement as some of the Jems.

I'm actually a bit surprised no one has made a post about it yet. Is not anyone interested?

Also, I'm guessing these are Chinese-made like the EP9s?

I'm interested. I play a good amount of acoustic stuff, and really like the feel and style of my ep7, have not had a chance to play an ep9 or 10 but would like to have one of each.

Actually really diggin' on this being black as well. I still liked the natural finish of the 9 too. I guess I would have one of everything they make if I had my way.

Will prolly settle on the ep10. Especially now that Rich is planning to carry these (at least thought he was toying with the idea last I heard).

They're thinline which is what attracts me most about them.
Yes, I did order them [they are Chinese like the 9's were]

Rob, you're mail has been bouncing, I'll PM you.

They're $1499 List, $1125 MAP, any other pricing would have to be done privately.

Re: The new EP10 Vai Euphoria

Because they're thin! I've always hated acoustics because of the angle my arm has to curve around the deep bodies. These are little thicker than solid bodies would be.

Thumbs up Re: The new EP10 Vai Euphoria

While I cannot speak to the sound of an ep10, I will say that my ep7 sounds moderately ok by itself. It has a fuller/warmer tone than I figured it would have, and as you might have figured, sounds great amplified.

Yeah...how do they sound unplugged?

I'm an electric player, plain and simple! But an acoustic has all the same parts, doesn't it?

I'm on a permanent quest to find an acoustic guitar I can live with. None I've played have been a happy medium between playability and not sounding plinky. I'm also trying to avoid the stinkeye from my tech who is also a dealer of C. F. Martins.

Re: The new EP10 Vai Euphoria

I think it looks awesome and i'm looking forward to hearing it. I have the EP-9 and though it sounds great plugged in, it's not the best sounding acoustic unplugged. Anyway, these guitars are made to be used with an amp.

Re: The new EP10 Vai Euphoria

As much as I love Ibanez electrics, I've never met an Ibanez-branded acoustic that I liked. Even the all-solid-wood ones, the Artwoods, I think they're called. And some of them, the $300-400 range with the beautiful wood veneer, just sounded terrible, thin, like they were made of tin and cardboard.

Peace

Mike
