New JS build

After buying a couple of JS's inspired me to build another
Black Limba body, routed & a quick round over front and back all the radius carving to do.

Awesome fretboard,that paduk looks verry cool!

and ofcourse the reversed headstock gives it a more agressive look!

Love the korina body, not so keen on the padouk board, a bit of an odd combo if you ask me.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out

I love your work and have some how-to questions if you would...
Regarding the angle grinder, what is the diameter in cm of the disc you use?
Regarding the fretting, do you hammer them in or press them in?
And what do you think of stainless steel frets?

I take it back!!! The paddy board looks amazing now its fretted and on the guitar.

Just seen a paddy N4 for 300,000 Yen hanging in a store here!

Hi, thanks its just a small angle grinder, guessing the sanding disk is about 11cm - just about gets into the horns if you are carefull.
I normally hammer, but just got a Stewmac press insert to use in the pillar drill.
Sorry never tried SS frets, I like the idea but have heard horror stories of wearing out your 30 diamond fret file in one job.

cheers jono, 2400 for the N4 sounds about right? You on holiday?

Not much going on quick wipe with oil on the body
