New Jem Build .

Had this old chunk of Mahogany in my loft for years . Its all thats left of an old french bed so has a few pleasant mamories

Should be enough for a neck and body , lets see .

Well !! I started sawing it into planks last night and found it was Mahogany laminated on to Pine so even in the 1800's they cut corners
No probs though as this makes it more interesting it is now a mahogany capped body and laminate neck.

I just measured another jem I had but I should have got some of those templates from ebay , its a real pain routing free-hand

I made a template for the grip as this is a disaster if its cut wrong.
