new member with something that should amuse

hey

i've been lurking around the board for some time now, gleaning as much useful info on the I guitars of BANEZ.and never really having anything to put in.you lot seem to answer my questions without me having to utter a word.thankyou
but i saw this on ebay uk and HAD to join up and share.
follow this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=33043
or go to www.ebay.co.uk and type in item no. 3718625926

the muppet who's put this guitar up works in/for a company called cash convertors, who are kinda like a chain of pawn shops/cheque cashing shops.EVERY instrument i've ever seen in there always as expensive as it is new in the shops, cos the people who work in there have no idea+internet access=un-realistic secondhand prices.but this, really does, take the biscuit.

campain of sarcastic emails anybody?
peace

ps gotta love those humbackers,is this why i could buy it now for £13,000?

Oh man I missed the Cash Converters connection but it's true.
Everything in there is really overpriced to the point that often a brand new identical item can be found for less localy.
Now that I saw the Cash Converters thing I would not be surprised if they DID mean £13,000.
They really are that clueless.

Bunch of muppets.

come on £13,000 isn't too bad for a guitar with 23 jumbo frets, and a unique hable built in to the body

Don't forget that it has two humbackers and you get a tunner too.

Yeah, I'm almost willing to spend the £13,000 to find out what a 'Tunner' is.

Oh, you're all missing the point. This is a charity auction, you see.

The seller's trying to raise the extra money so he can get private spelling lessons.

Milk 555 Huag, oh, wait, I mean Mike 777 Haug -yeah that's it. :P

Does the "buy it now" price suggest that somebody sold it to them for 10,000? Or do they really mark it up 13 fold?

Love it! Thanks for the laugh and welcome.

You can tell just from the way he's holding it that he really knows what he's doing.
