what brought you to destroying it ?
it went out to a different person to swirl, I am not going to mention any names, it was there a very very long time... almost 2 years, it never got done, then, when I finally started getting pushy, it got done. When they sent it back it looked like crap, it was horrible, and they charged quite a bit of money.
I was so incensed I freaked out and almost destroyed it. Then in a moment of clarity I decided to contact Alan, he talked me off the ledge and offered to fix it... so I mailed it to him and to make a really, really long story really short, he re-swirled it and made it into the guitar it is today.
I don't have much of a temper, but when you wait that long, pay top dollar- was around 375 I think at the time, and then get work that was inferior, well emotions ran a little hot that day.
I am glad I talked to Alan, he has done some fine work with me since and if it weren't for the idiots who f-up the swirl in the first place, I may never have met him. For that much I am grateful.
