Is the new trem better?

I'm new here and i'm looking into getting a 7vwh (or maybe a vsbl?) so I wanted to know since I can't afford a new one should should I get one with a Edge Pro or with the new trem(i forgot what its called!) by looks i would probable take the Edge Pro but is the new one better in any way? And if so how?
Thanx

You're confused, the new one is the Edge Pro. The old one is the Lo-Pro (based on the true original, the Edge, confused yet? ).

... if you can't afford a new one (Edge Pro), then the Lo-Pro Edge is your only option as '03 is the first year for the "new" Edge Pro trem.

thanx, but if according to him (rich?) that the zrs' are better than why doesn't the jem have one? Also the better trem (from rich ) seems to be the original trem is better than i should try for a '02 or earlyer model instead of the '03? (scratching side of head and thinking very hard)

The Lo Pro had many design improvements over the Edge.
The Edge Pro has many design improvements over the Lo Pro.
Some people will still prefer the Edge.
Your mileage may vary

Mate, you've tried a few guitars already, and you've already developed opinions (which is good for this type of thing). Seems like you don't like the Lo-Pro (flatter trem). So, you're eliminating options...

The better trem is what you feel is better for you. Its all personal, except maybe for the locking stud issue on the new Edge Pros ('03s) which many people think is not very smart.

When you buy your guitar, it is YOU buying, not "the jemsite board".

Personally, I like the Edge. I like to feel the trem under my picking hand.

Rich, will the Edge-pro saddles fit on the Edge? Stupid question, I just like to think that I have those pressed metal inserts.

EP saddles won't work on an Edge or Lo Pro, you're forgetting the inserts dictate the bridge is now routed +3or4mm further away from the nut [and there's no way they'd fit on an Edge to begin with, LP, maybe, but doubtful]
