New UV7BK Day...

Ok, couple of days ago...
Formerly Steve Miller's, back when he was an endorsee, but I guess he tried it and didn't like the extra string and all that. So he put it away, and it's still minty-clean today! Even the pink in the case is perfectly clean...no finger oils up the center from the strings and stuff. By serial it's a '90...

Anywayz...

The story I got from the guy I bought it from was that Steve sold it to a music store up in Marin County near where he lives. I guess my buddy bought it there, and he was getting ready to put it up for auction and I couldn't pass it up for the amount he wanted.

Re: New UV7BK Day...

Sadly its very obvious that you didn't use the sundial method to intonate that guitar.

I still can't get over how nice and bright those knobs and pickups are. I wish mine matched the dots on my neck.

I was waiting for that dude to pop up again, and was part of the reason I posted it here at all. I set it up yesterday, admittedly without a sundial, and that is in fact where it intonates. We'll have to see if the clowns come out...

Re: New UV7BK Day...

You should take a pic of the UV next to the PBK.

No kidding on the hardware! Looks fantastic!

What's the sundial method of intoning a guitar? Am I missing a joke here? I just intoned an Edge bridge yesterday with no tool. That was not fun!
