NGD

scored these in near mint condition. DBK is 2003 and SBL is 2002. both nice guitars to play. SBL is a bit heavier with a little bit fatter neck.

yeah, the neck on the DBK is thin and very easy to play.

I'm not a fan of those.
For a few years, I completely quit following guitars and gear and just played. When I decided to peek around and see what was out there, the blue sparkle was the first thing I saw, and I thought to myself, how unimaginative. I was expecting to see something more I guess.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad guitar at all, but it caught me off guard and I felt it just didn't fit. We all have guitars we don't like.

When I first saw the DBK though, I was immediately captivated by it and had to have one.
There was just something so cool about that weird finish and the mirror (I like mirrored pickguards on almost everything, I went out and bought one the same week. I did not like the breed pickups or the stupid neck dots, but the guitar played beautifully from day one. I don't have it anymore. I traded up for a uv777bk which is really something else. I love it. But I do miss the dbk.

Tell ya what I'd really like to have is a BSB in mint condition so I could have it cleared to protect it. Some of them are ugly, but others are really pretty. They play great just like the DBK.

It's sparkly? Oooo, I have to see one in person. Not likely around here.
That is a really pretty blue. I love blue. Need more blue guitars.
