Thumbs up NGD: The Alchemist's Brew.....

Ladies and Gentlemen :-)

Can I show you some magic???

It all starts with a Jem 20th....

Test that is working....

Take a super-charged magic potion, set it on fire

place it in the battery compartment and and walk out on stage...

Start playing the mystic ritual melody

and gradually see what it happens.....

more power....

Rising Force.........

Things really start light up and burning.....

And when the smoke is going down, you end up with burns, colors and melted wire...

Re: NGD: The Alchemist's Brew.....

This is a swirl that I got from a fellow Jemster and is the new artwork of Alan (OOTS)

The neck sports true temperament frets (I am a sucker for these!!!!!!) and a Sustainer.

I hope you enjoyed the show :-)

Just got her a a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't have the time ever to plug her. Just strummed and sounded and felt nice!
I'll try her on amp that over this weekend

I love the action shots of the 20th! That OOTS is one of the best ever--looks like melted sorbet.

THIS is why I think Alan is the new "King" of all guitar finishing. Anybody that doesn't think he's an artist with a vision is off their rocker..........maybe someday we'll be treated with an OOTS line of custom guitars. Wouldn't that be cool!!

Wow, very cool! What the heck am I looking at? I'm going to assume that someone did some extra carving on the body, then it was swirled, then all the low spots were hand painted black?

Re: NGD: The Alchemist's Brew.....

I seem to got lucky :-;

Alan is a school of his own (swirl wise). I really digged this one (and I knew about this finish a long ago, but I NEVER REVEAL secrets).

And a very nice guy as well, very helpful in many ways

I'm confused. Did you really put a firework (what I would call a sparkler) inside of a JEM20th?

Peace

Mike

Re: NGD: The Alchemist's Brew.....

Nope!
I always take good care of my battle axes ;-)
I was lucky enough to have several pics of me playing my 20th so I could fake the story -I just wanted to grab the attention of all fellow jemsters for my new toy
Looking forward to trying her tomorrow in the rehearsal

The finish is VERY unique!!! I hope the sound will match it (otherwise i'll set this one on fire with matches - Just kidding)
