Cool NGD IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!

Here she is. FINALLY. It didn't even look as bad as I expected. The missing chrome isn't bothering me much. It is MUCH heavier then expected. Over 26 pounds with the case. Its the lucite I guess. Has a Kahler Floyd Rose, as expected, which is not bad, but I will be getting the correct trem from Rich as soon as I can afford it. It has a different sound then my Donnie copy or my Chromeboy copy. Prolly the lucite there too, but I like it so far. Pics below. Comments?

Cool Re: NGD IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!

Ummm, its number 390 I am pretty sure. To lazy to take it out again tonight. As for the Kahler, its not something I would have done, but the setup was weirder. It had only 2 springs in the back, and the screws holding the claw were cranked in almost to the wood, pretty much making it a non-floater. If you can explain that one, I would be impressed. Its all back to normal now of course. Weird one though.

Very nice. That trem looks awful in there and I noticed the two springs thing as well. To each their own I guess, but why get a JS10 and then swap parts?

Congrats on the guitar, and if you want to get rid of that Schaller (not Kahler) trem cheap, you let me know

FYI, it's not a Kahler Floyd but a SCHALLER.

I hope you didn't pay too much for that thing.

Wink Re: NGD IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!

Yea, its a Schaller, I screwed the pooch on that. Didn't look before I typed. Also, I paid a ****load, $2k or so for it. It will be worth it once I get the right trem on it. Gonna keep it and play it, at least for now. there is nothing better then a real fine quality guitar. And this is definatly fine quality, even with the Schaller.

Re: NGD IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!

Way to go. Considering the damage, and the fact that new JS's are in 1700 USD give or take, I don't think an anniversary model, with damage, for 2K is too bad at all. Even after you factor in the new trem cost, it's still a pretty decent deal.
