No more VSBL makes for a tough decision

I've wanted a VSBL since they came out, and since it's being discontinued, this may be my last chance to grab one new. The problem is, I've been putting off buying a JEM until I get a bit more cash together (I'm a 'starving grad student' right now )

What do you guys think, should I just go for it and be paying off my credit card bill for the next year, or just let it go?

Yeah,, like dex stated...."buy it". It's better to regret something you've done then to regret something you didn't do.

That's the beauty of buying guitars on credit cards. As long as you take care of it, you'll always have it as an asset in case anything happens and you need to sell it.

Rich apparently has '02s still in stock. If memory serves, that's the year before the trems changed.

Re: No more VSBL makes for a tough decision

Well, I've decided to buy one, if I can find it!

Any ideas on where to look? Rich is sold out, and the usual online places only have the VWH except for one site that has the VSBL but has it priced at $2099

Rich, were you out of just the '02s or *all* the VSBLs?

Matt's music in the above link maybe.

I got lucky: http://www.chesbromusicretail.com/in...tagory/216.htm
Scroll down a little for a 2002. Apparently it's a closeout. I'd want to make sure it's not secondhand. May not be up-to-date either.

You didn't put your characteristic wink -- that's why.

Well, that's good for you. Not for Keith, but it sounds like business is good.
