Not my guitar, but the guy that owns it still has it, still loves it.
you know, a lot of people in my eyes ruined DY's years ago by swirling them. this is no different really, and cooler.
I get a load of hate mail for it on youtube, most of it, in my opinion, comes from people who collect guitars to never play them, or are just like the droves of vintage collecters who buy guitars to look at, who in my eyes, are pretty much the embodiement of the death of music and taking perfectly good instruments away from people who should be playing them.
i've also blowtorched and redyed my bsb, plus reworked a dead uv7bk.
It's just pretty lame how people get in a twist about someone changing the finish on their guitar to something they want acting pretty high and mighty about it, and then going on about the resale value. Man, if you buy guitars just to sell on, then there's something wrong.
Anyway, go flame me on youtube, it gives me a laugh every time someone cries about it and calls me satan
