Re: one more question cliplocks

OR you could just widen the holes on the cliplocks with a soldering iron so that it's big enough to fit over the SMALL end of the strap button (you have to take the strap button off of course) then fit the clip lok on the strap button, then screw the strap button back onto the guitar. You use the original screws and strap buttons, you only modify the cliplock. I have done this with all 7 of my electrics and it works great. It's just a little bit of work to make the holes bigger, but it's worth it. I came up with this idea when I 1st got my VWH. I liked the gold strap buttons and didn't want to lose them, so I came up with the idea of making the hole on the cliplock big enough to fit over the small end, but not the big end of course so it doesn't fall off(that would of course defeat the purpose of the clip locks) D'marzio should make their product to work like this to begin with.

What he says.

Ibanez should include a Dimarzio clip lock strap with Jems, as I bet 99% of Jem owners put a clip lock on straight away

Or make your cliplock fit to the strap button.

Thanks! It's a '95 7BSB. Have it for 10 years now. Plays like a dream. Here's the front.

EyE, how did your BSB get so... worn?!

Thats an amazing look - first time I've thought 'That guitar has seen some action...'

~M - Jonesing for a BSB now...

From daylight, sweat and the guitar rubbing against clothing. The guitar doesn't have a paintcoat so it easily get dents and scrathes. That gives it charcter.
My FP's body is in better shape then the BSB but the sound of that BSB is so hot. btw, my BSB has scalloped upperfrets.
