Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

Dating a girl with a good personality is fine, but when you get the looks to go with it, that's where the action is. At least for my money

Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

Yeah, when you give your axe a screwdriver facelift it is kind of hard to play it off.

Ben, I suppose I am being harsh. To be honest, it was 'kind of' cool up to a point. I just think you went way too far with it to the point that it now would only appeal to a 12 year old. Unfortunately, they don't have much disposable income. And the tone argument isn't going to cut it, especially since every guitar that passes through that house seems to have some 'magical, mystical, mystery' mojo.

You just shouldn't have trashed a damn fine UV. Or at least if you were going to, you should have been prepared to own it forever.

$510 was generous, you really should just keep it. Get famous and one day it will be your Evo.

Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

Its all a matter of taste, there are (god forbid) people out there who play tele's and LP's all day and think anyone that puts a grip on their body and 6 tubed holes at the back of their magic wavering tuning wand is a madman.
I think the hulk looked good at the earlier pictures myself.

Yeah, it was cool up to a point. When he just fixed the ding that was already there and added a *few* more, I thought it was cool. He just went way too far with it, drilling holes in the fretboard, scratching flames on the top, I think there is more super glue than original finish on it at this point.

Yes, I can see from the last 4 days worth of posts that you have no interest in Ibanez guitars whatsoever.

Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

Yes, I have no interest in Ibanez, which is one of the reasons Im selling my UV! my knee injury is why I'm trying to sell it at this time. Id would have waited till I could find another 7-string to replace it because I'd rather not go without a 7.

Ibanez makes Great guitars, the Hulk is a prime example! they're just no longer my preference.

Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

Here's the original thread. Looks like most of the pics have been deleted and his father deleted all of his posts as well.

Unless of course, your common money is over $700

Re: Phenomenon of the Universe

It didn't sell on evil bay, his reserve was $700. He might take that if you offer.
