Pickguard/Pickups for my JEM

Hi all, don't hang here much unless I actually need a question answered. Can you buy an entire wired pickguard for a JEM. I just bought a new(to me) one and someone installed EMG's in it. Rather than go through the hassle of re-wireing it, I thought it would be cool to have a complete different set to place in as the mood strikes. Cheers, Lucius

I don't think you can buy it pre-assembled from Ibanez, but you can buy all of the parts and have a dealer assemble it for you. Only a connection to the output jack would be required.

Don't the wires need to be fed through the boday anyway?

off topic....why is there a pyramid on your VWH??

Back on topic, jono is right that no-one sells a pre-assembled set, but you should be able to find someone locally to throw it together for you.

Not sure why the pyramid is on there, tt came like that. Gotta order two whammy bars, the pick guard, pots, and pickups. I think I've seen some pickguards on ebay that had the vine of life cut out in it... maybe I'll get one of those. Cheers, Lucius

Why not check with Rich on the pickguard? He just may have a few.

I betting that pyramid is a decal. I've seen them, in fact--Jockomo might have them.

Yah, I generally post at HC so I am not used to the actual stuff on the top of the screen to be useful. I'm checking all those links out now. Cheers, Lucius

If Rich doesn't have any--Nate Pearle makes them as well as pickguardheaven.com

That's pretty cool, actually. Looks pretty good on probably any solid colored Jem, I'd bet.

Have you tried any of the links/banners at the top of the page? Surely someone there could hook you up.

Bought it off some guy in van ? I think i almost bought that one but the seller was reluctant and what not. I think Dimarzio sells preloaded pickguards.
