Planning to buy this JEM 7V (Help me please)

Hi, I'm from Lima - Peru...here in my country is not so easy to find JEM's so my luthier found a Used one and they selling it for US$1800 (The only new one I found is a model from 2008 and it cost US$4000) I hope somebody can advice me if it's a good price, knowing the details I said above, I tried it and sounds really nice compared to my RG350EX even with EVO pickups and I don't think it's a fake but maybe you can tell me more about it, here's the link so you can check it out, I took many pics for every detail hoping for your advice, thanks

P.S. Any advice on how to ask for a lower price would be welcome

its 2003 model with edge pro bridge and ebony fretboard...the gold ware is tarnish...try to ask lower the price abit $1500....check if the neck is twisted and if truss rod is adjustable...old guitar could have problems...the frets might need leveling or refrets...

I would say that $1400 would be a very fair price. That's a nice transition model but it needs a LOT of cleanup and, most probably, some fretwork.
