Please help me on this guitar.

hello everyone, i recently found a guitar laying at the side of the curb on a stand. I have no clue what it's value is, or if it's any good. It says IBANEZ on it and JEM. here are a few pics. if anyone has any info please let me know.

LMAO Takin...

If serious, that's a nice guitar. Worth a lot of money if it is a genuine Ibby JEM

Re: Please help me on this guitar.

Can anyone help me date my JS 1000? It has a neck plate that reads, "Made in Japan.:
The serial number it shows on the plate is 003510. On the front of the headstock is reads, "JS Series". The color is metal flake black.
I've heard that "00" actually stands for 1990 but I see no logic there. Would "00" stand for 2000?
I'm sure this is probably an oft asked question but I couldn't find any thing on it in the archives.

Re: Please help me on this guitar.

"laying at the side of the curb on a stand"...You're saying someone decided to toss a guitar out in the street but has the thought of keeping it safe on a stand?

So what info are you looking for? Value or the owner who wants it back?

Re: Please help me on this guitar.

I would like it if this was a joke, but i don't think it is

Either way, a VSK that hasn't been swirled or otherwise mutilated.... interesting.

Yes, your guitar is a '90. If it has a neckplate at all, it was made before 1994.

The rest of this thread is obviously complete BS.
