Proud new Jem owner;

I just bought my first Jem- a 7VWH. Wow, this thing is awesome! I bought it with the plans of using it as the base for a swirl project, but now how can I dissassemble such a beautiful work of art? I'm going to leave it as-is for now. It's also the very first guitar (I've owned at least 20) that I'm happy with the stock pickups. I guess a lot of people say they sound thin to them, but I'm used to the EMG-81 as my primary pickup so compared to that, the Evo's sound thick and full to me. I've wanted a Jem since I was 16; in fact I remember playing a LNG one back in '87 but couldn't afford it- wish I could have that one now! Later.

If you're going to do a swirl project, I would highly recommend finding a slightly beat up FP. That way you get the rear routing and clear pickguard
and you still have a vine.

Maybe not looking for a green vine? Then I'm not sure what to tell ya! LOL

I'm thinking about one of those black green swirls on a FP! Hmmm
