Putting a 555 to Good Use - Without Destroying It!

Has anyone tried buying a lefty 555 and playing it right-handed (i.e. Hendrix)? *I imagine it would give it some different tones.

HAHA! No clue man! I have a 555... considering fitting a Lo Pro in it but I dunno yet. Wanna compare it's playability to other JEMS. I love this guitar either way.

I think you're alone on a hendrix style lefty.

I can't see how it'd be comfortable to play that way, with the knobs, switch, and possibly the whammy bar obstructing a free natural movement of the pick hand. Plus having the strings upside down feels weird!

Sorry six string, but hendrix doesn't uses strings upside down.

I very much doubt you'd get a change in tone, the only reason to do this would be for looks...

The way the pickups are made pick up each string slightly differently. The tone should change a bit but not necessarily for the better.

Higher fret access would suck! It's a cool idea though!
If I had a lefty 555 I would sting it up backwards, not upside down sixstring , and try it.

 whoops. Backwards, upside-down, same difference...
