Question about JS2000

First off, hello everyone, been a long time browser of this forum, just recently registered. To the point, for anyone who owns a JS2000, what are you using as a reference to balance the bridge. The manual says to set it parallel to the body of the guitar, but there really are no definitive straight lines to refence besides possibly perpendicular. Also, is it ok to screw down the fine tuners completley if I don't plan to ever use them? and being that I actually have them all screwed down now, why is it that the high and low E will only screw down so far?Multi-radius??
thanks

Since the 2000 is a fixed bridge there is nothing to *balance*, but if you just want to set the bridge angle you can either look at a correctly setup Lo Pro, or, the bottom of the base of the FBLP is flat at should be parallel to the top.

Fixed bridge lo pro [why did I think I was going to get away without typing it]

Shouldn't matter with the fine tuners but check it's not throwing the bridge radius off.

yeah i think the tuners are consistent with the radius, because I can't screw the high and low e ones down all the way(without forcing), and the saddles themselves seem to be making a gentle u-shape(inverted). I think Satch screws them all down, no?

No, I think Satch would use it in the way it's intended

tsh :P the only reason I would think to screw them down is that I am not locking at the nut, and will never use them, so might as well be in the most even, secure, position possible. To be honest, I've never liked them, always seem to affect the feel of the strings. Thanks for all the help, my questions are answered....

In that case I'd just remove them [just pull the little plastic washers off the tips first]
