RE: TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED TO THE BF
i HAVE RECIEVED A COUPLE REPLIES THAT seem to indicate I was downing jems or dis respecting them. I was not Like I said my first real guitar was a lochness green #57 and now at 32 i am a professional guitarist/studio musician , music therpaist and teacher my jems are my main guitars , especially for rock. What i meant by the quality is that they could've been made with more craftsmanship. Having worked at bensalem in the quality control dept. i saw alot corners they shave.
And for a example the 10th anniversary is a beautifully, crafted instrument,
its a shame they could'nt have made other jems w/ the binding and the meticulous detail that they were made with. No , the jem is a great guitar that deserves more documentation and "props" . I just hate the way the collectors markett (and e aby) has inflatede the prices.
I too love my jems , maybe i am just jealous that I can't get the same deals i used to. But when i go on stage a rip there is no other guiatr that plays and catches the eyes of an audience than a jem. (then I can floor them w/ the playing)
So please fellow jem players i was not downing the guitar , **** I have a groove in my rib cage that that matches the contour of a jem.
take care and keep playing
