RE: Ibanez JS1IR Touch Up Paint?

Looking to find some touch up, but it's kind of a funny color.

Very fine iridescent red with a touch of what looks to be either orange or gold pearl or mica.

This one looks "close":

This looks to have the right mica but is too intense:

Re: Ibanez JS1IR Touch Up Paint?

You might call an automotive paint store or even a store like Sherwin Williams and ask if they can match the paint by scanning your guitar.

Any touch up paint you get, more than likely will be lacquer. I would definitely do what the guy above my post said to do. Automotive paint shops these days have some amazingly accurate paint matching ability with the equipment they have. They would also be giving you a urethane paint which is what ibanez uses. Hope you fix it! I've got some small chips on some of my guitars. It's heart breaking when it happens.
