Really building up insane gas for a UVGR

it's weird, it's the one i always thought was ugliest, never contemplated owning, even a montha go, but been looking at (read: obsessing over) one, and a friend described it best:

"It's like looking at an ugly girl, whilst knowing, somehow, that they'll be mindblowing between the sheets"

Anyone else have this?

This quote is amazing.

Oh, and the guitar is damn ugly, but if you are GASing for one... just go ahead.
GAS is a serious disease, you must respect it.

Re: Really building up insane gas for a UVGR

I've had always wanted a UV7BK ever since I found this site but before owning the GR, i also thought it's really the funkiest color scheme of the bunch...
I was GAS'ing for a UV7BK back in '01 for a good few months [and still am to this day!] but I came across an ad for a UVGR to be traded for a 6-string then. I had to get it as that offer was too good to be true... I knew it looked odd in pictures but the axe is quite radiant in person.
I would definitely say the GR's personality/aura is more like looking at a beautiful woman at the wrong angle.

and to fuel your GAS, here's what my GR looks like now [except the switch knob has been replaced in green] sans the yellow :P

Nice! I just never know if I'd have a need for a 7 string though I should get one to see what the big deal is about.
