Bollocks. That is a nasty split that I don't think has even been repaired.

Dirt in the lacqeur my arse. Yeah there is dirt, in the crack in the wood! If it were a crack in the lacqeur it wouldn't show up on the photo unless you took it in the right light. I HATE it when people try and downplay something that is a legit cause for worry.

Ha, yes, I love the shocked outburst of 'bollocks'! But yes I think you might be right!

lol, sorry. I just get annoyed when jerks like this lie about the damage only to have some poor kid buy it (because it's beat up and it'll be cheaper) and then open it when arrives to find it's actually in really bad shape.

I tell you something else that annoys me, is when people selling an earlier 7vwh put 'RARE ebony fretboard' Umm... no. It may be DISCONTINUED but certainly not rare which is evident from the fact that you usually see at least one or two on auction at any one time.

Hmmmm! Its a player condition jem for sure, might make for a good project but like other people have said a wrong description of a item ( especially a neck crack ) is bad, if it was my guitar i would get it fixed and then SELL it.

Rare, in much the same way as Wednesdays are rare. Sure, Wednesdays don't com along every day of the week but they do come round with remarkable regularity.

That is a classic example of a neck crack. If it has been repaired it's been done badly.

What a great analogy!! I'll have to remember that one

Just another example of an e-bay scumbag trying to take advantage of the uninformed

Strange story since he bought this swirl over a month ago :-
200136104338
which has a strange description too ... says the neck comes from a 550 but its clearly a vine!

Have I seen that swirl posted on jemsite somewhere?
