Re: Refinished BSB

That looks well nice! My BSB is in need of a refinish, and that ciolour would be nice, although slightly greener!

I've seen the guitar in the flesh, and old "squid fingers" has indeed made a nice job of it.......

It actually starts out fairly white, and absorbs toxins almost immediately after being cut, thus leaving it with a yellow tint . Poor basswood

Here is mine, when I bought it plenty of little issues. Wrong knobs, missing screws, no lock nuts or whammy bar but I don't mind the finish flaws.

Here's the production chart. Those were made for about 4yrs, so I think there is a few more than 271 floating around

I went to that sat 2.30 class and I COULD NOT BELIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE it when that woman said that!!! My brother and I were in the forth row and just cringed!!!.....and then pulled a "joey deacon" face!

[QUOTE=morris"squid finger"daley;663220]Hi,here's some more pic with head stock and rear of neck. You will see the green bleeding through around the logo and more so around the serial number, this can not be helped unless you want to sand them both off witch I didnt want to.Thats the only thing wrong that kind of bugs me but what the hell.

Fantastic job mate!! I own one of these and have always loved it - I've still got the original UK Guitarist magazine with the review. One day I'll scan it and post it somewhere.
Your "new burns" are really good too, looks really good up the neck and the headstock is awsome.

Great work me old fruit!!!

Re: Refinished BSB

That looks great, and I actually thought it looked cool worn, too.

Honestly, the BSB is one of the few Jems that has any real appeal to me - they're just cool.
