Makes you wonder what the other colors would look like, especially the red and yellow..

Re: Refinished BSB

Here's a picture from the Ibanez 1998 catalogue to remind all of the true colour.

Re: Refinished BSB

Thanks for that. I know what you mean about the internet, we'd all be knackered without it.

How would I have found the dye, how would I have found the guitar, how would I have the inspiration to do it to start with?

I always wanted a BSB when they came out but never got round to buying one, what with getting married and having kids back in the mid 90's, but now the kids are growing up and I have a little more time and money on my hands I thought why not.

I kept looking at all the pics on Jemsite and other sites and thought stuff it Im having one.......and a rock mirror.......and a UV777BK.Well it would be rude not to.

Trouble is now I've got the bug and need to buy another.

Re: Refinished BSB

I know. I wish I had'nt seen them, I keep thinking about them.

Will someone buy them soon befour I am forced to do so. Although I am 40 soon.....That sounds like a good excuse to buy one.

Like anybody needs an excuse.

Re: Refinished BSB

Blazer them pics look brillant, the burning is much better and more defined than the first picture.

The colour looks great contrasting against the burning. The oil will slightly darken the finish when applied so dont worry.

Head stock looks fantastic, did you fit new logo lable?

I have just orded a new logo for mine from a dealer in America and am going to sand the old one off to remove the green that I could not remove without knacking up the original logo. Infact I ordered two because I will more than likley screw up the first one.

Do you sit looking at it thinking why you didnt do it sooner? When I first did mine I could'nt take my eyes off of it, I'd just stair at it.

I bet your well pleased with it, it looks great.
