RG 1527 pickups

Hails to everyone!

Just wanted to ask for your opinion on what's the best pickups to replace the original RG1572's ones (IBZ's)?
The goal is the HIGHEST output. As closer to EMG 81 as possoble.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Re: RG 1527 pickups

The Evo sounds the closest to the EMG 81 while the ToneZone sounds closest to the EMG 85 IMO.

Re: RG 1527 pickups

x2n is the closest in output, evo is the closest tonally but its very tame imo, not much gain at all although it is very fat like the 81.

Re: RG 1527 pickups

Why don't you get an EMG 81-7. Don't be a pussay to route it.
