rings or pickguard?

Ok so im almost finished building my project. Not really sure if I wanna go with the rings or go with the clear pickguard. I was inspired byt the Root beer jem so Im leaning towards the pickguard... Ideas?

Re: rings or pickguard?

I hate rings and the only guitar I like with a pickguard is that white jem.

Re: rings or pickguard?

I'd say pickguard. For some reason the rings look MIK, while the pickguard is MIJ.

Re: rings or pickguard?

I'd go with chrome rings to match the chrome hardware. No need for a pickguard.

Re: rings or pickguard?

Definately use the clear pickguard. The rings look too bulky and the clear pickguard shows you all that nice wood.

Re: rings or pickguard?

If it's a RB style, I would go with the BWB pickguard.
