Seeking Translator... - wondering about the little symbols..

I was curious...does anyone know if the little symbols by the #'s on the autographed LNG's are some other language? I read long ago that Vai had his own language for writing in his dream journals as a kid...is this that language? And does anyone know what the symbols mean. I can post a pic if it will help...

This symbol > *# *< means number. So #353 = number 353. The symbol is called 'box' on the keyboard I think.

Seeking Translator...

I hope you were joking!

I think he means the weird alien-type scribbles that Vai did on those guitars... I doubt there's an answer, but a good question, though!

The # on the keyboard is "pound."

The # on the LNG is "number."

The "symbols" on the LNG's are, IMHO, meaningless scribbles.

Re: Seeking Translator... - wondering about the little symbols..

Its very interesting to think about this point actually. Lots of the symbolism used on Jems etc is curious. The egyptian pyramid. The all seeing eye of horus. Strange writings.
Has anyone got any idea whether this is all just sylistic expression or something deeper. Much of this stuff relates to freemasonry. Any ideas????

The Hieroglyphics in my LNG mean "Play this Neon Green Machine 777 times and see what happens" I'm still 677 times short!
