Apologies in advance for posting a 'What's my Jem Worth' thread....but i have one i'm thinking of selling and really don't know where to pitch it, so i thought i'd ask before posting in the classifieds forum.
It's a 1991 Jem 777 VBK, all original, in excellent condition with just a few light laquer marks/scratches on the back. No dings as far as i remember, but i'll confirm this later when i inspect it and take some pics (can't check at the moment as it's late and i'll only wake my other half up if i try and check it now!!!). Apart from that it could just do with a decent trem set up, as at the moment the trem has a lot of dive, but not a lot of pull....if that makes sense.
Finally, it has a hardcase, but unfortunately not the original Ibanez type.
The main reason i'm having trouble putting a price on this one are firstly, because it's one of those that you either love or hate, and secondly because this one just happens to have a signature on the trem cover by a certain Steve Vai, dated 1993, which i believe to be genuine. I also have a replacement Ibanez trem cover, so as not to damage the signature but keep the guitar complete.
I'll post some more pics as soon as i can, but in the meantime, the one below should give a fair idea on overall condition.
Any advice welcome.
