Small corrections to the JS spec sheets on this page

Sorry, I didn't know whom to contact for this (glen, rich, jemavenger..??), so I put it here, feel free to delete the topic afterwards.

I was just crawling through the wiring diagrams on ibanez.com, and noticed the js100 and 600 DO have the coil tap. Also, they were often described on ebay with this feature. I think it makes sense now.

I think it's odd that only the cheapo and top-notch js models have the coil tap, but I checked with the 2001 euro catalogue, and its true. The js900 does indeed NOT have it, while there is a single "JS100/1000" switching scheme. Hmm.

Another thing is, I had a js600 in my hands that was definately korean. There are still rumours of a japanese run, but the korean ones do exist.

So, a "Manufacture: Korea" would be better than "manufacture: unknown".

That's it so far, sorry for wasting up forum space.

That's the purpose of a 5000+ member board

Btw, I looked at the js wirings because I'm toying with the Idea of adding a JS-like coil tap to my Radius (currently it's wired like a standard H-S-H RG)... Anyone know exactly which push-pull pot I should get??

Any standard on-on push-pull should work; I'd use a 500k ohm pot.

Incidentally, the old H-H radiuses had the split switch from the factory.

Well then why doesn't my JS700 from Korea have the coil splitting or the high-pass filter? That bites a weenie!

I believe thats because you can't split soap bars.

What are you talking about? My JS700 does NOT have soapbar pickups. They're just normal humbuckers.

D'OH!! Two errors: One, I was thinking of my newly-acquired JS6000.

Two, on my JS700, I was thinking of the sort of pups on the Ibanez Talman, the lipstick pups?

I'll try and turn my brain on later.
