Ace work as always Al!

Oh yeah, you should really get more youtube vids up, they show off your swirls way better, much truer to what they actually look like in the flesh. The photos look great, but the vids truly do them justice.

Nice to hear an update from you and to see your recent work. Clear, crisp lines and beautiful colors . . . as always.

Peace

Re: Some new and some old swirls

Cheers Guys, GMC yeah there are but most people want the PAW ones. I have 20 odd guitars to swirl in the next few weeks so who knows? Hey Wil good to hear from you man, I sent you a message on your page the other day.

In case anyone was wondering I have got a new guitar supplier now based here in the UK which is sweet and his work is top notch. He contacted me a few months back and he lives close too so that's a bonus.

Get ready for some messy one's now. Cheers all.

I looked for my old official thread and found it in a file with jimmy Hoffa. It's has been awhile.

Any of them. I'd like to see why mine is so washed out and none of these are. I don't see the water spots on these either.

Re: Some new and some old swirls

There are water drops and marks on all of them Elcid and places where the paint goes thinner than in other areas. Plus the flash has washed some of the color away on that you would have to admit?

Re: Some new and some old swirls

No, actually it's more washed out in person, especially on the lower horn you know, You've seen this guitar.

More accurate picture may lessen the shock to future customers.

Re: Some new and some old swirls

Lots of the original GMC have areas where the paint is thinner they also have ripps and area of no paint on front and backs of the guitars and in these area on the horns some I have seen where there is no paint at all, as the paint has a tendency to split here, in the case of your guitar has gone thin.

If you are not happy with it Elcid then I offer you the option of sending it back to me I will strip the guitar and re-swirl it for you then I will send you some pics off it from front and back and then I will pay to have it sent back to you and I will refund your postage to me. I don't want you to be unhappy with it, I don't want any of my customers to be unhappy with anything I do my name is worth more than that to me. I was under the impression though that you were happy with the guitar.

This offer stands as I have never had anyone say bad things about my swirls before, I have had a customer picking a guitar up this morning and he was real happy but this comes down to you elcid if you are not happy please feel free to take me up on my offer as one upset customer is one too many.

Re: Some new and some old swirls

Here are a couple of pics to demonstrate what I mean, I do my best for each customer I truly do, but swirling guitars is not a science, and each swirl will always be different, here are a few/lot from Darren himself that have water drops and runs and mega thin sections.

These are in no way meant to be an excuse they are a fact and part and parcel of swirling, so if anyone would think of buying a swirl off me or anyone else they should take these things into consideration first.

One on rich's site
http://www.ibanezrules.com/images/ga...jem77gmc_4.jpg

I would have sanded both these guitars off and tied again and here is a pic of your guitar from my camera.

I don't want to argue and I don't want to alienate anyone. You also could have emailed me for the last month or so since having the guitar.
My offer stands Elcid but now you are offline?
