Is There A Guitar You Wish You Could Have?

I thought it would be interesting to hear if anyone (other than me) has a 'special' guitar they crave more than any other guitar. You know - one you once played, or one you've seen in pictures only--is there a SPECIAL one that really hits you hard?

A few years ago I saw this DNA and ever since I can't stop thinking about it. I'm obsessed with it. I guess it's the way the colors line up or something. Maybe it's the Golden Note on the horn.

I've saved different pix of it and view them regularly - just to see if I'm still infatuated.

Anyway, I have no idea who owns it or anything about it - but THAT'S THE ONE!

Anyone else fall prey to this malady?

I feel the same about many guitars also,TOO MANY! If i could have one though it would always be Alex Skolnicks famous lipstick red HH 540S! The true Skolnick model from every tour/album 1988-2008,the things that guitar has seen. It's the guitar that got me into Ibanez and made me an S lover.

I really wish I could have one of these JSs. I can't stop looking at the pictures from time to time. I have a gallery of them on my computer just to help ease the cravings.

My next custom build . Fortunately it's just a matter of time (and a reasonable amount of bucks).

Re: Is There A Guitar You Wish You Could Have?

I'm lucky enough to have most of the guitars I used to dream about.
But still, as a teen, I was dreaming of the Vai's MC universe.
Now I'd like to get me another 540PII in any of those bright colors. Besides, I won't spit on a vintage Iceman.
And that's just about Ibanez.

But honestly, GAS is hitting me so often and heavily, so it's hard to tell what it's gonna be next month...

I'd love to have Jem 10th and a '79-'81 PS-10. The latter being something I've drooled over since I was 9 years old!
