I wonder when or if the Jem range will be updated with the new Edge Zero's? Any ideas?
The day Vai decides to use the edge zeros will be the day they upgrade the Jems.

Although he never uses a hardtail, so god knows why they are bothering...

The most un anticipated Jem of all time is the hardtail and after that was the White and gold with abalone monstrosity....

:P

Re: There's A HARDTAIL Jem Coming!!!

The only part of it that isn't a downgrade from an EP is the fact they give you an intonation adjustment bolt, and a rout the size of a bathtub behind the trem to fit it in.

Otherwise, discusion for another thread, not this one.

Think of a mashup between a jem7777v and a uv...

JEMFX - Hardtail JEM - Image inside!

And here it is, thanks to the great security of the Japanese site:

It appears to be dubbed 'JEM7EAFX' and it looks like a JEM77V with a hardtail. And then there's the 'amazing' inlay/graphic on the body

Specs:
neck type 5pc JEM Maple/Walnut neck
body Basswood body
fret W/6105 frets
bridge Tight-End bridge
neck pu DiMarzioŽ Breed ™ (H) neck pu
middle pu DiMarzioŽ Breed ™ (S) mid pu
bridge pu DiMarzioŽ Breed ™ (H) bridge pu

Not sure about the inlay, but I like the overall feel of the guitar (but I also like the 77vbk so ...). Love the breeds/basswood combo so I look forward checking it out Have never seen that "tight end" bridge anywhere, is it new or has it been on other guitars before ?
