Thinking of tackling my intonation 2nite... help!

problem here see, i have no intonation tool.
There is only 1 offending string however, in that of the A. Its largely out after the 15th fret, but i need it to be in tune there for the sweep arpeggios.
Is it really likely to cause me some hell without a tool?

cheers!

Nope.....I did the job fine without one. Just takes some more time. If you visualise it right you can't go wrong.

It's the EDGEADJUST tool, it's a godsend. I bought one from Rich recently. Makes intonation a lot less painful, because you don't have to loosen and retighten the string with each adjustment.

Re: Thinking of tackling my intonation 2nite... help!

There's actually two different versions of the intonation tool. One designed for the edge (and OFR type trems) and another for the low pro edge(and other low profile trems). I've got both types but seeing that I can't remember where they are I've gotten used to intonating floyds without the tool. It's actually a good investment provided that you intonate your guitar(s) often.

Ah, ok, so I should know how to use google by now...

I guess that's the tool, allowing you to adjust the saddles with the strings under tension...

well, ive done it without it and it wasnt too bad!

adjusting the intonation is the easy part, its just slackening off the strings and tuning it all up again which is a knightmare!

thanks for the help all!
