That's interesting, I've never hit my volume pot on either of my js guitars with the bar. I guess I am not that rough with them.

Happens only when the pot is pulled out for the high pass filter. If you have the bar loose so it hangs down it'll knock against very top of the metal knobs.

Never seen it as a problem particularly but it does happen.

We must have our guitars setup differently. My bar doesn't come close to the knob when pulled out... I'll have to double check when I get home. I do keep both bushings on the arm so maybe that's why it never happens to me.

I've never had this issue, and I always play with the pot pulled on my JS.

It's not by much. A tiny push and it'll slip past but it does rest on the pot.

Maybe it's because yours isn't the original edge trem? Or possibly the neck sits deeper in the pocket... So your bridge needs to sit deeper. My action at the 12th fret is 1.5mm.

Haha this is shooting off topic 😅

You don't get a 400+ post thread without a few tangents... 😃

Yeah that JS is an Edge Pro and I have the action pretty low.

If I could get the action lower I would! But 1.5mm isn't bad lol.

IDK if I could even play it with action that low.... but I'm a pretty aggressive player, more in the SRV style most of the time.... (not "blues", just the aggressive style), my high E action at the 12th is 7/64" = 2.78mm

Even on my old Charvel shredder (which I have to run 10s on, I can't play 9s anymore, they are like cooked spaghetti), it's 5.5/64" = 2.2mm

I have to get UNDER those 2 high strings to be able to bend them reliably.

My father is like that. He plays with 11's and a .50mm pick haha. I use 10's and a 1mm pick.

Rich, checking your website it appears you’ve long sold your allocation of the three colored models. Are there any allocation issues with the White version?

Also, any commentary on why the availability date for the colored models is so wide and different for each color? (Green isn’t showing until in until October 17th for example, while White has an April 17 date on a number of websites)

The white will be harder to get than you think. The first container allocations are limited to 1 guitar and they don't know when the second container can be expected.
