Tighten 99 Universe input jack?

Title says it all, how do I tighten it up?

Remove the cavity plate from the back and there should be a nut on the threaded barrel of the jack. Just tighten it up with a spanner.

Ah, I knew I messed this up. I meant tighten up the inside, so that the cable is tighter in the jack hole. Thanks for the response, sorry for my lack of clarity.

And I just realized, after reading the threads below, that it cant be tightened. Must be replaced.

It's the one crap thing about those barrel jacks, they die and just completely go with no chance of temporarily fixing them. Speaking of which, i need to get some more of them as i've run out of replacements!
