I agree, it seems very much the same as usual. I just listed one of my VSBLs. I'm selling it because I have 2 and I want to sell one to finance another high-end guitar, that's all. Just normal activity for me, not the economy.

Re: times must be HARD!!!!

In France it seems rather that the ones that are for sale don't sell, but that doesn't mean necessarily more people are selling. There are a couple forums where people have vwh's, but also uv pwhs, sk and such for sale at a very decent price, but they don't flip, and have been listed for several months now. So I think, in France at least, people are reluctant to shell 1300+ euros over for a guitar right now ...

Interesting to see the color variation between the three. I can't decide which one looks the best.

Re: times must be HARD!!!!

It was me that bought the DNA #234. I paid 6k for it but boy is she worth it. I have been in the market for a DNA for a long time and have seen prices from 4500 for a well used and low quality one to 9k for a decent swirl. The #234 is just like new and the quality of the neck, the finish and the pick ups really does warrant the price I paid. When new, these guitars where available in the U.K for about 3k so bearing in mind nearly 10 years later and with only 300 available worldwide, the price was about right.
I can only see these guitars going up in price as time goes on.

Re: times must be HARD!!!!

I'm talking about when it sold to the previous owner, if it's the one I'm thinking of.

No doubt on the guitar though, it would be sitting in my stash if I had been a little more liquid at any of the 4 times I had it before ;//
