Re: universe colors

no Universe has ever had a blue pickgard mate... but if it's white (and a creamy white, not a bright one) with white headstock and pyramids inlays, then it's a UV7PWH with an aftermarket pickguard (pickguard should have been plain white )

Re: universe colors

Looking at the pics it's a 100% genuine UV7PWH on which the guy changed the pickguard and truss rod plate to blue ones... (they should be white as well as control knobs.)
But anyway, it's a real one, congrats on your new axe, awesome guitar (i have one as well )

Re: universe colors

that's a VERY good price, considering how cheap are a pickguard and a truss rod cover ...

Re: universe colors

i think the trem is a different color than original too. It looks silver in the first pic but in the next it's dark, maybe it was just the flash or is worn? Badass guitar though

Re: universe colors

Congrats on the UV7PWH! I was eyeing that too. It's just a simple mod, the original pickguard is white. Here is mine I scored off Rich-

It is my favorite guitar. I was curious to see if I could score another pickguard and no such luck. The older UVs are a little different with the newer pickguards that are on the new UV. WD Music, Pickguard Paradise and Jeannie pickguards -they could make one but it's just not the same.

Re: universe colors

I was watching that one too. Overall, I think it was a good price judging from pictures. I enjoy playing mine and I love it. I know you'll enjoy it. Congrats on your new guitar.
