UV Neck profiles

Having owned tow UV's that are cosmetically the same (UV7BK's) for a few months now, I've come to the conclusion that apart from different weight et all that the neck profiles are noticably different between them. One of the is definately chunkier in feel than the other. the spare uv7bk neck I have feels even chunkier than the chunky neck. Thicker in a way.

So, is this normal, has anyone else ever noticed this and if not then could someone have sanded the neck down on one of them (or both judging by the older neck...)

It's not that I have a problem with this, as it does make the guitars different (although this fosters a "must keep" mentality in me), I am just a bit curious...

I will leave comparisons to UV777BK's and things with AANJ's out of this, as I know from experience that the profiles on those are different...

I would guess that someone might have sanded the thinner feeling one. I would think Ibanez uses a neck machine or something and they would all come out the same?

Maybe someone who knows more definitely about the manufacturing process will chime in. If this hasn't already been asked before...

It does look sanded (very clean neck) and feels sufficiently different for me to think it has been, but the other two necks are sufficiently different in thickness and feel and they have definetly not been tampered with...
