Man, I forgot about that auction. I don't think it met the reserve, but I can't remember. At least Alex showed up with his Design A Jem winning guitar, but he hasn't been back in quite a bit.

anyone who can afford 35k for a guitar is probably busy hangin out with pornstars, in some mansion in the hollywood hills, while snorting lines of rack the size hotdogs :P They hardly care about posting on jemsite..

Well I wouldn't anyway if I had all that cash :P

Re: The UV Prototype?

We'd all love to know the owner! In fact if he reads this, definitely drop me an email and introduce yourself, you've got good taste in guitars.

He contacted me before he put it on ebay. it took a double take when he listed it, that was serious cheddar. I was thinking more 20-25, but if you got the ching and you want it what's an extra 10k.

It wouldn't surprise me if Steve bought it. He's shown an interest in getting some of these old friends back.

Steve's certainly got the cheddar for it. Maybe he could use some to get the swiss cheese back.

I was going to suggest they would be hanging it on the wall of their corner office on the 35th floor, between the law degree and the Harvard MBA. Anyone who's living the lifestyle you describe probably hardly cares about bidding on ebay
