Cool Re: UV truss rod covers.

Hi I want to join the trend of reviving old thread.

I was searching through the forums as I ordered a truss rod cover at least two months ago and it hasn't surfaced. It was on order from japan, and after checking every week, it never turned up. So the shop I ordered it from contacted the distributer, they said they had loads in stock in the UK, so they said they would send one out straight away and apologised for the oversight. So I tried the shop every day for a week (no joy). Eventually the shop called the distributer, and guess what, they didn't have any so they'd have to order one from Japan.

And so it it begins again.

If anyone knows where to get one, please please let me know.

Thanks

Tim

Re: UV truss rod covers.

I have the regular plastic ones but not the black aluminum that would be correct on a new 777 [I think].

Re: UV truss rod covers.

Cool, so they do exist in real life.

Thanks Rich.

How often do you come across slotted VWh trem covers, I know your listing a chipped one. Do you ever get them in.

Definately have a truss rod cover off you though. Just trying to think what else I can get to fill an envelopee.

Re: UV truss rod covers.

I try not to, that stuff can collect dust for years, and getting the stuff isn't just picking up the phone and it comes, as you're experiencing. Try doing the for 300 different parts

That's a lamination chip, just one of the layers, it's not like the whole corner is whacked off.

My god your right, I'm so glad it didn't surface there.

How painful would that be?

Re: UV truss rod covers.

Could someone also tell me the spacing of the screws holes on the truss rod cover.

I seem to have a mirrored cover, that I thought was for a six string, but the screws holes are slightly wider.

Thanks

Tim
